Strategic Plan

To develop the strategic plan for Burnaby Community Connections we used a Strategic Platform Model. Our plan is therefore based on our mission and allows us to grow in response to community needs.

Strategic Direction

To be the agency of choice for people seeking help or to help others; and be a visionary in the development of community-based solutions to social issues.

Strategic Objectives

+ Operations & Governance Development

Program Development & Delivery

• Information and Referral - Develop new programs that enhance our ability to ensure Burnaby residents are aware of, and have access to the community services they need, when and where they need them.

• Community Driven - Build upon the community driven programs to deepen their impact, broaden the base of clientele, and have innovative ways of engaging the community in direct program delivery.
