Ready, Set, Learn
In collaboration with the Burnaby School District, Burnaby Community Connections published the Ready, Set, Learn brochures, a series of publications that are geared towards children between the ages of birth to 5 years.
The first of these series came out in the fall of 2006, listing many useful resources that are specific to this age group. The second wave of these brochures, which was released in the winter of 2007, saw the inclusion of a map containing the locations of all the resources listed.
There is an Ready, Set, Learn brochure for each quadrant in Burnaby (the Northwest, Northeast, Southwest and the Southeast quadrants), including the resources specific for that area.
These brochures can be found in various community centres, schools, resource centres, and educational institutions.
